Chinese mythology has many factions, and characters vary across different systems. Today, let's briefly discuss the ranking of Chinese mythical characters:

Hierarchy of Daoist Attainment:

  1. Sage: Sages are immortal and indestructible, with the saying "Below the sage, all are mere ants." Throughout history, there have been eight sages, namely Pangu, Dao Ancestor Hongjun, Three Pure Ones transformed by Pangu's primordial spirit (Taiqing, Shangqing, and Yuqing), Yuan Shi Tianzun, Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Tongtian Jiaozhu, Nuwa, Zhun Ti Dao Ren, and Jie Yin Dao Ren. There are three ways to become a sage: proving the Dao with strength, attaining enlightenment by cutting off corpses, and achieving merit. Among these, proving the Dao with strength is the most challenging and powerful.

  2. Almost-Sage (Zhunsheng): Those who are on the verge of becoming a sage but have not yet achieved it. Examples include Buddha Gautama, Emperor Fuxi of Heaven, Emperor Shennong of Earth, Emperor Xuanyuan of Humans, and Guanyin. Since most Daoists become sages primarily by cutting off corpses, those who have cut off one or two corpses are considered almost-sages.

  3. Great Luo Golden Immortal (divided into three tiers: upper, middle, and lower)

  4. Celestial Immortal (divided into three tiers: upper, middle, and lower)

  5. Earthly Immortal (divided into three tiers: upper, middle, and lower)

  6. True Immortal (divided into three tiers: upper, middle, and lower)

The strength ranking of each individual takes into account their personal Daoist attainment, potential, aptitude, magical treasures, and a series of comprehensive strengths. The values represent reference points for combat power.
